Environmental Dashboard: Tracking the Health of the WasatchThe
Environmental Dashboard will be a tool for the public and decision makers to track the environmental health of the Central Wasatch and evaluate impacts in future planning discussions. It is the intention of the Mountain Accord that the Dashboard is a legacy project and will be updated on a regular basis. It will be scientifically based, data rich, and technically credible. Step I of the Dashboard is in progress and will compile data currently collected throughout the Central Wasatch Mountains in a way that provides a picture of the complete health of the mountain range, as well as a mechanism for measuring the health moving forward. Step II of the Dashboard will include an online connection for people interested in tracking the progress of key indicators.
