Sarah Hinners, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of City and Metropolitan Planning at the University of Utah, and director of the Center for Ecological Planning and Design. She is a landscape and urban ecologist who studies the integration of natural systems into urban landscapes. Her research usually involves water, with current emphases on green infrastructure, ecological landscapes, and the formal and informal relationships between people, nature, and water, including management, planning and policy,.
